Hiking is very popular in the mountains and there are numerous trails for differing levels of ability, with or without using the chair lifts. The views are stunning and the air is clean - what more could you ask for!!
We are members of the Golf Club at Les Gets 15mins up the mountain and believe that it has some of the best views available as well as being enjoyable to play. The course is challenging and quite tiring as you’d expect in the mountains, but buggies are plentiful. We would highly recommend anyone who plays golf to give it a go and if you are looking for someone to play with, I’m sure it wouldn’t take much to persuade Steve to join you if you need someone to play with!
Avoriaz has a 9 hole golf course which is less challenging than Les Gets, but also with exceptional views but probably easier on the legs!
Also within 45mins is the Evian GC, host of the Major Evian masters ladies pga even, there are several other courses within 1.1/4 hrs drive including chamonix.
Summer Sledge Run - For adults and children alike you can't beat racing each other down the summer sledge run on the Pleney slopes.
Paragliding - For the more adventurous why not take advantage of the many companies offering you the opportunity to jump off a mountain and enjoy the fabulous views as you glide you way down to Morzine.
